Mini Sessions

Your Mini Session includes 10 carefully selected, fully edited images. After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you’ll be able to view your images and choose your 10 favorites to download.

Want them all? You can upgrade to receive your complete edited gallery, typically around 15–25 images total for an additional $95.

The gallery upgrade is $95. When you receive your gallery you will have the option to upgrade.

After purchase you will have access to all of your high-resolution images to download, usually around 15-25 images total.

Portrait Evenings are designed for anyone wanting to capture meaningful connection in a short, intentional way.

They are ideal for families, couples, grandparents with their grandchildren, or a parent with their children.

They make a meaningful Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift, offering the opportunity to step into the frame and preserve this season in a lasting way.

Mini Sessions are designed for one household or one focus per session. You’re welcome to include grandparents or immediate family, but not both within the same session.

If you’d like to focus on grandparents with their grandchildren, we recommend booking the session specifically as a grandparent session. If your goal is family portraits, the session should be booked for the immediate family only.

You can also book two back-to-back time slots and we can fit in one additional party. For example, grandparents or cousins together.

Weather can be unpredictable, especially here in Michigan, so I always keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session.

When you book, I’ll also share a designated rain date. Please make sure you’re available for both the original date and the backup date, just in case. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, I’ll confirm the switch to the rain date as early as possible.

Great question! When you book your session, I reserve that time just for you - and that means saying no to other families who might want the same date. The 50% retainer holds your spot and helps cover the behind-the-scenes work I start right away (like planning, prepping, and dreaming up how to best capture your family!). Since it secures your place on my calendar, it’s non-refundable.

I understand that life happens, though - so if something comes up, I’m always happy to work with you to reschedule when possible!

No need to stress - I’ve got you! After booking, you'll get access to my private client lounge full of tips on what to wear, how to coordinate without being matchy-matchy, and ideas that photograph beautifully outdoors.

The short version? Keep it comfy, simple, and true to you. These sessions are all about connection, not perfection - so wear what helps you relax, play, and enjoy your time together.

Yes! Pets are welcome to join your Portrait Evening session. Please bring a 6' leash and an anchor or stake to keep your dog safely contained when they’re not in the photos. We’ll make sure their energy adds to the fun without interrupting the flow of the session.

Yes! Every Mini Session Package includes a beautiful 7x5 heirloom album featuring your favorite images. You can upgrade to a 10x8 album for an additional $65 if you’d like a larger version. Duplicate companion albums are also available. These are perfect for gifting to grandparents or keeping a second copy for yourself.

Each Mini Session is thoughtfully planned around its season, location, and overall experience. Some locations require additional fees or offer a more unique setting, while certain seasonal dates are especially limited and in high demand. The session itself remains the same relaxed, intentional experience. You’re simply choosing the setting and season that feels right for your family.
